‘THE FU(TURE)JI IS NOW’ BS.P Solo Exhibition

Bo-Shou Peng, known as @bs.p who just had his first solo show in Taipei, Taiwan at Whimsy Works Gallery. Peng completed a BA in fashion design, but to help pay for his education he sourced, customised and sold vintage LEVIS.

Despite that re-sell business doing well Peng realized that apparel design, especially menswear somewhat confined his creativity, whereas art allowed for more freedom of expression.
His first solo show [THE FU(TURE)JI IS NOW] combines the title of his first work as a fashion designer [Śūdra FUJI] with the words [The Future Is Now] communicating where the old meets the new. Peng transforms vintage denim, indigo, boro and sashiko pieces onto new forms of composition.
